Delft:

Cafe de V in Delft
I visited Mike and Helen in Delft. We went out to the local for a meal. Pictured are Mike, Helen (obscured), Bertrand and Paula.

Oude Kerk in Delft
Old Church. The bell in the clock tower is only ever struck when there's a royal funeral, because it weighs 9 tons and more regular ringing of the bell would make the tower fall down. Strangely, the bell will be struck tomorrow as I write this, 30th March 2004, for the funeral of Queen Juliana.

Oude Kerk II
The kings and queens of the Netherlands are buried in Delft, which makes the town the 'sacred city' of the nation. As a result, it's the only city of that size without a red-light district!
